Mid-West Instrument has been designing and manufacturing differential pressure switch models for use in Hazardous Location applications for over 30 years. Our products may carry one or more certifications from CSA, UL, or ATEX. Products CE marked for compliance to the ATEX directive are also compliant to the RoHS Directive. Hazardous Locations certifications apply to the entire assembly / design and not just the use of a “Certified Enclosure”. Certifications are product specific so please verify your certification requirements with one of our knowledgeable Mid-West Sales Coordinators. In order to mark our product with the CSA & UL marks, Mid-West Instrument is subject to unannounced visits by personnel from each certification lab 3-4 times per year. In addition, for the ATEX certification we are subject to a comprehensive audit from a Notified Body representative once every year. See individual models for complete specifications.
