The semi-lug Series 953 Knife Gate Valve is engineered to reduce the weight of a full lugged body and provides a cost-effective solution with the same reliability and high performance of the Series 943 full lug design. The standard metal-to-metal seating with optional unique self-locking PTFE seat or soft seat is engineered for high performance unidirectional sealing for general purpose on/off service and isolation of clean, dirty, corrosive, abrasive, viscous, and high temperature media.
