Bray High Performance
The Bray/McCannalok Series 41R high performance butterfly valve is specially designed for the sugar industry to offer rugged reliability and extremely easy maintenance in the field. Independent and internal tests have proven Bray/ McCannalok’s superior service life capability, with zero leakage shutoff through over 100,000 cycles.
Bray Resilient Seated
Series 31H lug-style resilient seated butterfly valve is drilled and tapped to meet ASME Class 125/150 and PN16 flanges. The durable, high strength one-piece stem design utilizes an efficient internal disc to stem connection.
Bray Triple Offset
Bray Tri Lok®: Proven Isolation Valves for High-Pressure and High-Temperature Service
The Bray Tri Lok® valve is a high-performance triple offset butterfly valve designed for extreme service applications. Its cam-like triple offset geometry eliminates rubbing between seat and seal ring, reducing wear and extending service life, while the torque-seated metal-to-metal seal ensures reliable bi-directional zero leakage shutoff.
Bray Bidirectional
Robust Knife Gate Valve with Flexible Elastomer Seat, Tested for Reliability and Long-Term Durability
The Bray Series 740 Bidirectional Knife Gate Valve showcases advanced industrial valve technology, featuring a robust one-piece, cast body design for optimal performance across diverse applications. Its replaceable soft seat ensures resilience durability and adaptability for automated processes, facilitating precise on/off operations. The one-piece cast body seamlessly integrates with a flexible wire-reinforced elastomer seat, delivering bidirectional zero leakage shutoff in various industrial settings.
Bray Slurry
Heavy-Duty Slurry Valve with Advanced SlurryShield Technology
The Bray Series 762 Heavy-duty Slurry Valve, equipped with advanced Bray SlurryShield Technology, ensures exceptional performance and reliability. It effectively prevents media buildup that often prevents other knife gates from reliable isolation and provides bidirectional isolation, showcasing excellence in valve technology and making it the preferred choice for demanding industrial applications.Constructed from durable ductile iron, this valve ensures durability and longevity in harsh conditions. The two-piece bolted flange style body adds strength to the design, while also provide quick and easy maintenance.
Bray Unidirectional
ray’s Series 943 Knife Gate Valve features a full lug design, and the Bray’s Series 953 Knife Gate Valve features a semi-lug, single piece cast body available in CF8, CF8M, CF3M and SS2507 for demanding applications. The semi-lug Series 953 Knife Gate Valve is engineered to reduce the weight of a full lugged body and provides a cost-effective solution with the same reliability and high performance of the Series 943 full lug design. The standard metal-to-metal seating with optional unique self-locking PTFE seat or soft seat is engineered for high performance unidirectional sealing for general purpose on/off service and isolation of clean, dirty, corrosive, abrasive, viscous, and high temperature media.
Bray Ball Check
Isolation Valves for High Pressure
Bray’s SlurryTuff™ brand includes the MAXI-CHECK line of ball check valves and ball check isolation valves. Available in high pressure high wear, low pressure &low wear and dual function check/isolation models. They are designed to prevent reverse flow, and in the case of the Model I, prevent reverse flow with isolation.
Bray Dual Door Ckeck
Energy-Efficient Protection Against Flow Reversal
Bray's Rite Double Door Check Valve features lightweight dual discs, responsive independent springs, and a durable resilient seat for reliable flow-activated operation with tight sealing and reduced water hammer potential.
Bray Swing Check
Bray/Rite® wafer combination swing check valves are flow activated, and Rite Sized. Bray/Rite® inlet ports and disc have been shape optimized to achieve a fully open position at low flow rates (3 ft/s on average). Therefore, the Bray/Rite® operates exceptionally well in the flow rates typically found in pipelines containing control valves and lines with varying media flows.Compare the Bray/Rite® to typical full-sized swing check valves-- Due in part to their oversized, heavier discs, these valves only fully open at an average flow rate of 11 ft/s.
Thermodynamic Traps
The Thermodynamic Steam Trap is simple and compact with a single moving part (disc) which opens to discharge condensate and closes in the presence of steam. Body materials available are Stainless and Alloy Steels for pressures up to 3,600 psig. Widely used on higher pressure drip applications and critical tracing applications (where condensate back-up is not permitted).
Rugged design and excellent for use with superheated steam
Operation is easy to check due to distinct cyclic operation
Single model operates over a wide pressure range in contrast to mechanical traps
Self-draining when mounted vertically to prevent freezing
Thermostatic Traps
They are extremely energy efficient and excellent at discharging air allowing steam to enter the system quickly during system startup. Models are available in Stainless and alloy steel for Drip, Tracing, and medium size Process applications. Pressures up to 650 psig.
Superior air venting capability and extremely energy efficient
Single model operates over the entire pressure range in contrast to (F&Ts & IBs)
Considerably Smaller in size than F&Ts & IB traps of similar capacities
Self-draining to prevent freezing (unlike F&Ts and IB traps)
Float and Thermostatic Traps
F&Ts contain a float-operated valve to continually discharge condensate and a thermostatic air vent which discharges air. Body materials available are Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Cast Steel, & Stainless Steel for pressure up to 450 psig. F&Ts are the most commonly used trap for the majority of process applications. These traps are also suitable for drip applications on pressures 30 psig & below.
F&Ts quickly respond to load and pressure changes
Discharge large amounts of air present at start-up which allow steam to quickly enter the system.
Inverted Bucket Traps
These traps use an inverted bucket as a float device to control the opening and closing of the plug and seat to discharge condensate. Body materials available are Cast Iron and Stainless for pressures up to 450 psig. The top-mounted discharge orifice makes them less susceptible to clogging from dirt and debris. Primarily used for drip applications but may be considered for process applications when air venting is not critical.
Rugged and simple design and service life often exceeds other style traps.
Top-mounted discharge orifice less susceptible to failure from dirt and debris
Universal Style Steam Traps
The UC450 Series QUICK-CHANGE Universal Trap-Connector System with multiple choices for trap modules and connectors are used in steam systems where a simplified and economical maintenance program of steam traps is desired. These Universal Style quick replacement steam traps can be used on steam supply lines as well as for tracing and small process applications. They are commonly used in colleges & universities, hospitals, chemical plants, petrochemical refineries, paper mills and other industrial facilities.
Clean Steam & Sanitary Traps
Sanitary Steam Traps are designed to offer free flow-through internal passages by incorporating very smooth internal finishes (20-25 Ra). For periodic passivation and sanitation of the system, these traps offer a tri-clamp connection on the body to allow for removal of the thermal element.
Clean Steam Traps are steam traps designed for similar functionality as the sanitary traps, but do not offer the same level of surface finish.
