Multivariable Inline Vortex Flow Meter Model: AX22
Azbil multivariable flowmeters utilize three primary sensing elements –a vortex shedding velocity sensor, an RTD temperature sensor, and a solid-state pressure transducer–to measure the mass flow rate of gases, liquids and steam. Systems that use external process measurements to calculate mass flow may not provide adequate compensation for the fact that process conditions can change radically between the point of velocity measurement and the point where upstream or downstream pressure and temperature measurements are being made. Because the model AX22 multivariable flowmeter measures all of these parameters in a single location, it delivers a more accurate process measurement. Integrating multivariable output capability with a single line penetration also simplifies system complexity and helps reduce initial equipment cost, installation cost and maintenance costs. The product line is available with a wide range of options and meter configurations to meet your specific application requirements.

Azbil’s Model AX24 Multivariable Vortex Flowmeter offers accurate and reliable flow metering in a multivariable design. The multivariable design incorporates a high-accuracy velocity sensor, a precision platinum RTD temperature sensor, and a solid-state pressure transducer. The AX24 can deliver volumetric flow, mass flow, temperature, pressure, density, and energy (BTU) measurements from a single installed device. This drastically reduces complexity, equipment costs, and installation costs in comparison to installing multiple stand-alone instruments to arrive at the same process measurements.

QPS Averaging Pitot Tubes
High Pressure Hot Tap. This sensor can be installed under high pressure without shutting down the system. We have corrected the common problem of the single nut tightening, by using the heavy duty tie rods systems of tightening the packing gland. No extra tools needed. The Stainless Steel tie rods assure easy insertion or retraction.
